Award Winner Celebrity Hairdresser

Stuart Phillips is the rising star in the world of hairdressing with a client list which reads like a celebrity Who’s Who. Stuart’s salon has been at the forefront of the hairdressing world for 16 years, styling hair for a verity of household names including Janice Dickinson, Ivana Trump, Caprice, Bridgitte Neilson, Chris Noth (Mr. Big), Ronnie Woods, Beverly Knight, Micha Paris, David Seaman, Jamie Oliver, Jaime Murray, Jonathon Ross, Jayne Krakouski, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Girls Aloud and The Hoff himself!

It comes as no surprise that Stuart Phillips is at the heart of London's style scene. Stuart and his award winning team are continually frequented by a-list celebrities at his state of the art salon, situated opposite the exclusive Covent Garden Hotel and adorned with 23,000 selectively placed Swarovski Crystals.

Stuart and his creative teams methodology is an eclectic mix of eastern and western style which has helped him and his team win various accolades including awards from L’Oreal Professional Colour Trophy Award for "London Three Times" Cosmopolitan magazine for ‘Outstanding Talent in British Hairdressing’ and nominated for the London Lifestyle Awards for "Best London Hairdresser.

On the 29th October 2007 Stuart was entered into the Guinness Book of Records and is currently in the 2012 edition for the most expensive hairdresser in the world costing £8,000 a haircut. Astonishingly he has now beaten his own record charging a staggering £20,000.


Stuart was also the official hairdresser to BAFTA’s, for three consecutive years, in association with L'Oréal Professionnel, where he worked his magic in styling hair for the nominee's at the Television Awards, he also styled at the National Television Awards, British Comedy Awards, British Soap Awards and was the personal hairdresser and stylist to ITV’s Dancing on Ice with Torvil & Dean.

In his career Stuart has created many styles including placing £100000.00 of diamonds (in association with Duttson Diamonds) into Michelle Heaton's hair for the BAFTA's and repeating this by placing the same amount of diamonds into Serena Williams hair for one of the pre Wimbledon parties.

Over the years Stuart has styled hair for many TV shows, his favourites being, Natalie Cassidy on E4 for her reality TV show. Stuart styled hair for Natalie’s photo shoots and red carpet events, while at the same time being filmed. The American chat show "Rachel Ray", for this Stuart created makeovers on the London eye and also on a double decker bus in many different locations around London and ITV1's "For better for worse" In this show Stuart styled the hair for the new bride that has just entered the show!

Stuart was recently nominated by the London Lifestyle Awards 2011 for best hairdresser in London!

For the first time in over 100 years the Ideal Home Show incorporated a fashion catwalk. Stuart was the chosen celebrity partner and was the first hairdresser to grace the stage performing hair make-over's, showing the latest trends to a large seated audience.

Stuart styled the hair for the contestants of Estonia's Next Top Model competition. The models flew to London for the televised event, then Stuart Travelled to Estonia and was a celebrity guest judge for the show, while he was their he had numerous interviews on channel 2 network and for their national magazines.
